Last year, Nobuhiro "Monster" Tajima broke the 14-year-old record of the Pikes Peak Hill Climb, which is one of the world's biggest and most famous hill climb race held in Colorado, U.S. He achieved his first aim at that time. But there is still a challenge before him. -The 10 minutes barrier-.
Monster clocked 10 minutes and 1.408 second, setting a new world record last year. Obviously he is the person who is most close to the goal. Yes, this year, he will arrive at the summit of the Pikes Peak at 4300m above sea level, aiming at breaking the barrier.
SUZUKI SPORT XL7 Hillclimb Special '07 that ran last year has been already acquired the potential to beat the barrier. So, SUZUKI SPORT staffs has improved and polished its whole set up including engine, drive train, suspension and aero dynamics for this year.
It is now up to the conditions of the race day whether he can set a new record less than 10 minutes. The peak will show hard, rugged face to the challengers again!
